Our biggest challenge or goal when creating a motorcycle audio system, whether on a Harley or any outdoor vehicle, is overcoming wind, road and exhaust noise. This 2013 Harley Davidson Street Glide easily met and exceeded that goal with just two speakers by upgrading from a 5.25″ speaker to Rockford Power Series 6.75″ coaxials using a Rockford-specific mounting ring setup. It is powered by a Rockford Power series amplifier. An Alpine digital media receiver sends the source signal using Bluetooth, USB or an auxiliary cable. All handlebar controls remain fully functional as well.
Another goal of a lot of riders is increasing visibility while on the road. This Harley has a full, custom-built multicolor lighting kit that allows control of color and patterns via the included remote control. It lets the driver change the lighting to whatever color you desire (just make sure to follow state laws!).
