The other day, we had a client come into our shop who is also a soldier. He was being deployed to Kuwait and wanted a system installed in his truck that would allow him to monitor his vehicle from anywhere. We had exactly what he was looking for, and we were excited about working with this client once again.
Our client already had a remote start and telematics system installed in his vehicle, but that particular system was causing a lot of issues. After hearing about these, we decided that the best option would be to remove that system due to its poor performance. He also wanted to know where his truck was at all times. If it was supposed to be at a repair shop getting a tune-up, he could check to verify its exact location. He also is able to monitor the interior temperature to keep an eye on how hot or cold it was.
Lastly, our client wanted to have the peace of mind of knowing that his vehicle was safe and nothing was being tampered with. With a Compustar Drone installed, he’d get notifications instantly if his car alarm would happen to go off. In that case, he could phone a friend and have them check up on it, instead of returning to a damaged vehicle months later.
